Tropical smoothies can help use keep our new year’s resolutions to eat more fruits and try new things. Mango has been a fan favorite tropical fruit for time to come but some unique fruits fresh and pureed continue to reach into the market. Guanabana also known as Soursop is a tart fruit in nature full of fiber, magnesium, Vitamin C and B-6. This smoothie is light and uses tropical fruits to provide natural nutrients.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 C guanabana pulp
  • 1/4 C Mango
  • 1/4 C Yoghurt
  • 1/4 C Evaporated Milk
  • 1.5 C crushed Ice
  • Optional: 2tbsp of sweetener (nectar, honey, sugar etc)

Method:
1. Place all ingredients in blender.
2. Pulse until smooth (3 min), Adjust consistency using evaporated milk or nectar to thin  ice to thicken.
3. Dispense in glass
Optional: garnish with mint and fresh fruit if desired.
