Classic cocktails are coming back with a twist. As interest in libations grows creativity behind the bar has excelled to create these new bar chefs. Utilizing infusions, macerations, and unique flavor combinations classics are being resurrected in mainstream, home and even speakeasy style bars.
This classic can evolve at many levels depending on the level of ingredients utilized.
- 2oz Rye whiskey
- 2oz Vermouth
- 2 dash bitters
- Macerated Cherry (we have a recipe for this too!)
Combine the rye whiskey and vermouth with ice; then strain into rocks glass over ice.
Finish with cherry and bitters.
